Patient Initial Consultation

  • Storage of a patient's personal information (name, date of birth, address, health insurance number, family contact, etc.)
  • Search for a patients' records according to name, date of birth, address, patient registration code, etc.)

Billing and Accounting

  • AthenaClinic calculates all cost information (examination fee, spent materials, deposit, discount, assurance, and more). The cashier prints a receipt and collects the cash.
  • Information about collected cash, number of visited patients at each department in real time.
  • Daily cash report for the whole clinic or by department.
  • Compensation fee for doctors, nurses and technicians.

Clinic management

  • List of patients who have been examined and who have paid in each department in real time.
  • List of patients in the waiting queue of each room or in the cashing queue.

System administration

The system administrator can create, modify and delete system data such as:

  • Lists of departments, rooms, and staff (doctor, technician, nurse, receptionist, and cashier). The administrator can also set the access rights for each staff member.
  • Lists of services and service prices
  • Drug lists with prices
  • X509 certificates for staff

Miscellaneous features and specifications

  • The queue management system: AthenaClinic queue can be connected with other queue and number displaying systems. Each reception area, cash-desk and examination room has its own queue. Each staff member sees all the people waiting in his/her queue. When one service is completed for one patient, the system passes the patient to the queue of the next service. The patient is informed where to go next, and the estimated waiting time.
  • Auto Correct: Each system user has his own auto suggest list. For example, if the user types "VN", the system will replace it with "Việt Nam".
  • Auto Complete: Like what Google does.  When a user types some first letters, the system tries to anticipate what the user is typing and offers possible matches according to the information that the user has recently typed. The user saves time because he needn’t type in the full information—just select AutoComplete's match.
  • Message: While connected to the system doctors can exchange information with colleagues by text message.
  • Security: Each user has a password and is given access rights according to his/her role.  Data transmission from server to client station is encrypted by the HTTPS protocol. Examination results and prescriptions can be signed by digital signature.
  • Multi-lingual user interface: AthenaClinic supports a graphical user interface in the English and Vietnamese languages.
  • Integration: AthenaClinic is ready to connect to existing systems in the clinic such as queues, security, and laboratory results...
